THE TALK: What do Arsenal fans want more: The Premiership or the Champions League?

THE TALK
ARSENAL. POSTED BY RICHARD OSLEY.

I'M not so sure, but a considerable number of Arsenal fans clearly think the Gunners can win this year's Premiership title. There was a title-chasing buzz at the Burnley match. Never mind how matches like Hull City away so often trip up the Gunners, supporters seem to believe the run-in is set-up for a happy finale. So high is confidence in the stands all of a sudden, the small matter of tonight's Champions League tie against Porto seems to have drifted in the priorities list. It's almost like what promises to be a nervy, exciting scrap for a place in the last eight of Europe's big one has suddenly become a distraction. Never mind the Hulk, you can almost hear the whispers, we want to know if Arsenal really can string a run of league victories together and go all the way in the league. Steady on guys. Arsenal's vague title tilt could quickly collapse unless they keep on securing maximum points from their Premiership matches. And if it does disintegrate with a draw here or a last minute defeat there, don't the Gunners want to preserve their Champions League chances as back-up. It should be all guns blazing tonight, and the fans are going to need to play their part.
