I INDULGED again, I confess, at one of my favourite street fairs on Sunday – with a delicious French dish of sausages, potatoes and cheese (with a fancy name I cannot remember) followed by heavenly ginger and coconut cakes, all dangerous weight putters-on!

The Christmas fair, held on Sunday, straddled Regent’s Park Road in Primrose Hill with lots of stalls and attracted hundreds of visitors.

The organisers should be congratulated – John Shepherd and Gillian Anderson Price, who runs an antique shop in the street along with Jo Barnett, owner of a beauty salon.

Backing them was the ubiquitous councillor Jonny Bucknell and, behind the scenes, estate agent David Burkitt.
