Early Christmas shoppers out there would do well to snap this up. Similar to Jo Whiley’s Live Lounge, it’s an acoustic collection of chart and less mainstream artists such as Plan B doing Smokey Robinson, Will Young covering Kate Bush, Kasabian’s hilarious version of Del Shannon’s Runaway, and a real delight from Kill It Kid doing Aloe Blacc’s I Need a Dollar. And it’s not all covers – this is a double album of road-trip music.
