Classical and Jazz - String trio Kosmos Ensemble play Green Note

The world-class Kosmos Ensemble play Camden Town on Thursday

ACCLAIMED string trio Kosmos Ensemble are playing at Green Note on Parkway, Camden Town, on Thursday evening.
The classic­ally trained musicians play an inspiring fusion of folk music traditions from around the world with Gypsy fiddling, tango, Yiddish songs and Klezmer dances together with Greek and Turkish music.
By all accounts, they handle the full spectrum of rapid trills, glissandos and broken chords with ease, maintaining rhythmic and crisp phrasing through tempo changes.
The trio is being joined at their Green Note gig by Serbian-born accordion player Milos Milivonevic, an international prize-winner and prolific performer around the world.
