THE ghost of Arthur Conan Doyle may well be haunting a crime-writing literary lunch in Baker Street on Saturday. His biographer Andrew Lycett and best-selling crime writer Frances Fyfield will host the macabre-themed event at the Sherlock Holmes Hotel. Mr Lycett will talk about the research for his widely acclaimed new book Conan Doyle: The Man Who Created Sherlock Holmes, which sheds new light on the author’s grim fascination with the occult.
Lunch is at 1pm, and tickets are £62.50 and £72.50. Contact the Living Literature Society on 01727 825 939.
