PROFESSOR Roger Graef, a criminologist at The London School of Economics (LSE), told the New Journal that when it came to breaking the law adrenaline was “the most dangerous drug”.
“It is addictive and people who get addicted to doing things that are illegal, or taking huge risks, will do anything to get that hit,” he said.
“A great deal of offenders do it for the excitement. They break the law and do dangerous things for the thrill of it.”
Jonathan Brignull’s case was “really interesting”, he said. “The drug that most people should be taught about in crime is adrenaline,” Professor Graef added.
