FORMER dance teacher Stella Mann celebrated her 100th birthday on Tuesday, surrounded by ex-pupils who attended her chain of dancing schools and friends who have known her since she moved to Hampstead in the 1950s.

“I am so lucky,” said Stella, who has lived in Osprey Court for 20 years.

Ex-students came from as far afield as Somerset, Glasgow and California.
