THE club was once known as “Royal Arsenal” so the Duchess of Cornwall will have felt right at home at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.
Camilla hooked up with Arsenal winger Theo Walcott to meet schoolchildren from Camden and Islington as part of a campaign to get more children reading.
Under the Premier League Reading Stars project, top footballers recommend their favourite books to primary and secondary students, creating a unique reading list.
Theo, who has written a series of children’s books, said: “It was great to meet the Duchess of Cornwall.
She made me feel very comfortable and was very relaxed.
She even asked how the bump on my head was.”
