and over-subscribed provision.
 
You will need to:
• be hard working, have lots of energy and work well as part of
a team
• be interested in children aged 5-11, preferably with at least
3 years experience, and hold NVQ level 3 childcare qualification
or equivalent (or level 2 with willingness to work for level 3)
• be able to deliver a wide and varied range of activities
including physical activities, ICT, homework support, cooking,
arts and crafts
• be responsible for the health and safety of the children
• be able to work on your own initiative to make the extended
school a safe, interesting and lively environment
• be sympathetic to our aim of making the extended school
supportive of childrenʼs learning, play and developmental needs
in line with the ʻ Every Child Mattersʼ agenda
• be able to communicate with a range of users, parents, carers,
tutors, teachers and school staff both verbally and in writing.

Primary school teachers required to work on Saturdays

We are looking for:
• A good classroom practitioner in the primary / prep school sector
• A teacher who enjoys teaching young people and who has a genuine interest in well mannered youngsters
• Enthusiastic about teaching a small group of pupils in a class of 10 or less
•Able to work one day a week, on a Saturday, teaching highly motivated pupils from supportive parents 
in year 4 to year 6.
We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced primary or prep school teacher who is highly confident and derives pleasure from teaching young people. You have to be strong in the Key Subjects of Maths or English or preferably both. A good level of competence is desirable in Science as well but not a priority as we have teachers who teach Maths and Science Subjects to a high level. The position will be ideal for a retired or semi retired individual or a person who is currently taking time off from full time primary school teaching. A full time primary school teacher would also be welcome as long as they do not mind waking up early on a Saturday! 
Remunerations are higher than the average and the position may be a half or full day on a Saturday.
